1. Yes, it seems like the My Player editing tools are very similar to NBA 2K10. I figure they probably let you do whatever with handedness etc. as well.

2. I didn't get to see all the accessories etc. in the game, but I do know you can edit that type of stuff on your My Player as well as real MLB players.

3. It would be hard to answer that question at this point. I'm also not sure about difficulty level. Could you change it in the NBA 2K My Player? If you could in that I would bet you can do the same in MLB 2K.

4. Yes, you can select where you want to start your minor league career or just be put on a random team.

5. I only saw My Player while on first base. On first base the camera was behind your player in such a way that you could study the pitcher on the mound.

6. I think it will have more to do with stats and completing achievements than with your ratings. The developers seemed to be somewhat bothered by the ratings versus stats issue as well in NBA 2K.



In the build I played I didn't see many cuts to the field to see stuff like that. It seemed like there were more cuts to an instant replay etc. I tended to be talking to developers while playing though so it's entirely possible I missed some of that stuff while looking towards the devs between half innings.

Are all those Pepsi and other corporate advertising signs gone from the stadiums? I hated last year how it seemed like I was playing in Pepsi Park with their logo's EVERYWHERE.

Are all those Pepsi and other corporate advertising signs gone from the stadiums? I hated last year how it seemed like I was playing in Pepsi Park with their logo's EVERYWHERE.

They put the ads in the appropriate places this year. No longer will you see the giant state farm billboard at Wrigley field and or the mini monster at Nationals stadium.

Hey guy's, what's up? I posted this question on the 2K website a couple of times and nobody has returned any info. Anyway, can somebody that's involved with MLB 2K10 please tell us what's up with stadium specific celebrations( apple popping up in citi field, train moving in Houston, etc.). Are they in the game this year or not. The developer insight on art direction states that stadium specific celebrations are there, but Chase said that they are not. Somebody has to know this late in development. If we are to go by the art direction insight, we just need to know if it is correct. Thanks in advance for any info. Dying to know the answer.

Developer at 2K told me that stuff was not in, hence why I wrote it.

I really hope that it is in because it brings the stadiums to life and in the developer insight I got the impression that they were back.

Can you control all 32 teams this year in 'single-season' mode like in MLB2K5? Recently you were only able to contol 4 teams (bummer).

Yep, you're right...must've been thinking of NFL

Does anyone know if you can control and edit all the teams in-season mode? This is huge for me as to wether to buy the game or not...I'm still playing 2k5 (having to manually update rosters) for this reason alone!

I haven't played MLB 2k since 2k7 so some of these things may already have been included the past few years..

Does MLB 2k10/2k9/2k8 have:

- a broadcast fielding cam?**
- a button pressing swing mechanic? (seems like a gimme)**
- a button press pitching mechanic? (also seems a gimme)
