Ah, well I didn't see that one. Then I guess it's not the sites that are going there, just an author who doesn't know what he's talking about (water spouts in Fenway?).

Yeah, sorry for the bad preview. I probably should have read it first before posting it.

Just read it...consensus here seems dead on...nothing to see here.

And you don't need to apologize...it's not your fault the preview was shotty. Nothing wrong with posting something new, regardless of how much it actually covers.

We should wait until OS gets a copy. I trust their opinions over any other sites reviews/previews.

Heh, how is it possible to have more accurate control than last year?

This. The ONLY thing I liked about 2K9 was the simplification of the advanced pitching. What I'm hoping is that the vagueness given with the ease of pitching is offset by said rating system. Picking your spots means nothing if the pitches have poor movement and/or velocity. I love their emphasis on visual authenticity, but truly hope for a playable game.

"Major League Baseball 2K10 carries a lot of what made last year’s game so special, and should address some of the nagging issues that kept some of you away from it."

If he were to sugarcoat it anymore, we'd all get diabetes from reading that article. I bet he thinks "Epic Movie" is one of the greatest movie masterpieces of all time.
