I have been out of the loop with this game, any word on the Phillips thing, like is they removed him or who replaced him, I know there hands were tied with time?

He is still in. Since it happened so late in development. But they brought in and added John Kruk, which I suspect will be his replacement for 11.

He would have been in the game no matter what. there was no reason for them to replace him. NOt with MLB Network hiring Harold Reynolds. 2K had OJ Simpson in APF. Come on now.

I have worse things to say about pasta's article. or him in general.

But Steve was never going to go anywhere. I even asked 2K about it, and they were not concerned at all. Like i said. Harold Reynolds got fired for the same thing from ESPN and is now and employee with MLB Network (Owned by MLB). So, i doubt they are concerned at all.

Not concerned/no comment is the standard response to a consumer or a media publication. It has no weight. Really.

They are not going to divulge their private matters to a consumer to spread on the web.



Reynolds case was different, because he was not married, so in the court of public opinion, it carries way less indiscretion. Not to mention he sued ESPN, which settled with him for money, showing innocence more so than guilt.

I thought he was good in 2k9 and in past games 2k normally lets it ride for many years like miller and jumping joe .
Remember their first year they came out ? it was almost game breaking but then it was never updated and people loathed it 2 years later still saying old out of date dialog .
I think the mother Kruker was a add-on cause of Phillips issue .
From what I read he will be bring his own smart but style and not in a 3 man team if this helps .

I like Phillips, never had an issue with expect for when he was our GM (METS)...LMAO
