I don't get why he doesn't just wait for the insight to come then post the damn thing. What's with the announcement? Now I'm just impatiently (and perhaps hopelessly) waiting.

Hopefully it will be on presentation; that's the one thing we haven't really been able to grasp yet since there hasn't yet been actual in-game footage at this point, and that may point to what we'll see when we play the game.

My understanding is that MLB Today is largely presentation; stats, graphics, commentary etc. It's one of the Insights I want to read the most (especially if it talks about improvements to real-time atmosphere).

A couple of weeks ago I realized that I got a little too caught up with looking for the latest bit of information. A trend that became prevalent with the Madden 10 dev cycle was to see who was posting what on Twitter. It goes a little further than that for me, but as it applies to gaming, these Twitter updates and, "Oops, did I leak that" sayings are causing too much speculation.

So this means we should expect it next week sometime then?

Oops, I didn't even realize that he said "MLB Today," somehow I just read it as "MLB 2K" (I mean they rhyme, do they not?). Then that's good! Maybe we'll get to see some in-game stuff with it as well then, to see how it all really syncs together.

Well, this thread is a big let down. I thought I was opening it up to read the insight. "Boo-urns" in the words of Smithers.

Re: Friday: MLB Today Developer Insight

lol...so much for "no more announcements." It really now just comes off as pouting by Ronnie (to be fair, I've seen some of the Madden reps do it too...so I'm not dumping on 2K or anything...lol).

If it does indeed come out, that's good news though. I'm curious to see how it will be implemented specifically for 2K10 and what, if any, modifications/upgrades we can perhaps expect over what was done in NBA 2K10. It should be an interesting read.

Hopefully we'll hear more on RTP. I'm also hoping to hear about Camera Angles also

It's up and I managed to delete the entire thread, when I merged. New topic up, locking up.
