    Re: Some New Screenshots

    Here, you linked it incorrectly:

The game looks very much like MLB 2K9 with deeper shadows... and uhh, legs are very fat. I'm sure the stadiums and textures also look much better too, but they always blur it all out in these shots so you can't tell.

One thing that I don't like though is in this shot:

This catcher should be running and backing up first base, but isn't even a quarter down the line.

I do like that gloves close though.

Atleast the firstbaseman is stretching..The catcher tried getting down there atleast. He's not staying at homeplate.

Well, if he was staying at home plate then I would perhaps be optimistic and just assume that there's someone at third base or at least going to third base. With this picture, we know that no one is there. Him trotting down the line helps no one, as the first baseman will probably get to the ball quicker than the catcher.

And supposedly last year the first baseman would only stretch if you went past a certain point on the throwing meter, so that could be the case here.

I think the details are great, considering the past outings. I still think that MLB 2k7, had the best visuals overall! Especially in player face details.

Not digging the colors palettes at all, they still seem off. Overall, I'll definitely be picking this up.

I think they're definitely getting there. Much improved over what I saw last year.

What we really need to see is some gameplay footage. Hopefully that's coming sooner rather then later.

Like I said in the article, there will be a new batch next Monday.

                    Looking good!

I still think it looks a little washed out, but 2K9 had the same problem in screens and looked fine on my TV.

Agree. Even if the graphics haven't changed much, if the Lighting is improved this game will look really nice. The player models as always are solid IMO.

The lighting looks great and so do the player models. Everything seems to be in proportion.
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

I have to disagree bigtime on these player models and other then some faces they look the same as 2k9 im so disappointed they brought back the 2k6 tree trunk cavles and work boots
Stuff like this and the flat top helmets with inflatable doughnut hole really wrecks the visual feel of the game for me but maybe the hands and feet looking big is a depth perception thing blended in with the blur effect ?.
I still dont know why they ever changed models from 2k7 to these blurry mis proportined washed out models ? it had to be a framerate issue as it happen in the hockey game also .
Plus we all have learned the game never looks a good as screens at least on the ps3 .
But I do like the stadiums when not blurred out they look great .
Im not trying to be negative but visuals blending with gameplay is a must for me in 2010 sports games .

Maybe he has a low defensive awareness rating and was slow reacting to the play
