    Dynamic Strike Zone Idea

After watching the gameplay video it kind of bugged me that the strike zone is always the same through every game. Everybody knows that certain Umpires call balls and strikes differently, thus not all having the same strike zone.

The game would have X amount of Umpires and they are assigned to different games throughout the season. If you play a game with a brand new umpire, you don't have the grid. Instead you must build the strike zone pitch-by-pitch. If your game is assigned that umpire again, the strike zone you uncovered is carried over. This would allow for more pitching and batting difficulty.

Probably thought of before, but whatever. I thought it was a cool idea and could add both realism, difficulty, and dynamic gameplay.

I know on The Show, they have something like that were one ump will call the game differently than another. I am not sure if they have that with 2k10 though.

I thought 2K has had this, too. Maybe 2K8...hell, maybe last year.

yeah I thought 2k had this as well. It was in the options menu and you could choose to use it or not. It was called "variable strikezone" or something like that...
