MLB 2K10 Created Player & Roster Freedom

Will 2K10 give us more freedom with created players, like stances? Will it always allow us to create players more freely with no "lame" limitations? Making roster updates easier for gamers. I'm surprised this hasn't been addressed as of yet, by the gamers I mean.

They did address it already, you might have missed it though. We thankfully got back the ability to edit batting stances.

Edit: I don't think we've heard if there's an editing limit like last year where you could only edit a certain amount of people. We should find out within the first few days after release though, because someone will try it out probably.

Chase mentioned something about a new face editor but I haven't heard any more information..

It was my biggest concern from a non gameplay standpoint. I pointed it out to be asked and I dont thinki it concerns people that much. Who knows though but yeah the face editor is NBA 2k10 editor. Also like posted above you can now edit the stances again so theres a plus. IMO

This is always one of the things I look at most closely in a game. Obviously, gameplay takes precedence over everything else, but it is options like these that make games more enjoyable, and likely to be played longer. Being able to create classic teams, new rookies, or whatever you want only adds to the game's depth.

I have never been able to simply play a game "as-is" out of the box. I always need to edit something, and the more options available the better!

What on earth is the face editor? Is it just for CAP? Just like NBA 2k10's face editor?

No limit on players edits this year, thankfully. It was answered in the developer interview in this thread:

The developer lied on all counts! You can only edit around 100 names and you can't edit the player's face, skin color, position, throwing hand unless it's a CAP. Total garbage.
