Why waste disk space rendering guys we can barely see? I just want to see guys up there when I'm hitting....looking from 500 feet away. I don't care if they're the "Sanchez Triplets from New Jersey" who all move in sync and sit together like they do in the lower decks. In fact, I didn't even notice this, so it isn't a big deal to me."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

You guys are ridiculous. Who cares what is happening in the upper deck? I don't see these little jaggies either. What I see is a massively improved game that I could see myself spending a lot of down time playing and enjoying.Comment

I think the more I play the demo, the more I enjoy this game. I saw Hamels literally throw at Granderson, point at him after he hit him square in the back. Beautiful.
I'm really enjoying it. Graphically, it's much better than years past. Not quite as sharp as the show, but definitely good enough for me.Twitter - WTF_OS

I am just glad the game runs smooth. They told me earlier today they are sending my copy overnight on Monday, it was to late in the day and they had already sent their shipping out.a few hours earlier and i would have had the game tomorrow.
oh well, i can wait til launch like everyone else.

I'm really not seeing this jaggy problem and when it comes to AA I have a really sharp eye. Not saying they're not there but I don't think it's anything like past years. Plus it is has been mentioned that the retail is smoother around the edges.Comment

It seems to me the graphics engine doesn't push the 360's hardware as much as it could. That is really what is limiting this game's graphics. Things like low resolution shadows and low crowd draw distance seem to be a sign that the graphics engine can't push what the developers wanna push without sacraficing things.
For instance, you know the developers wanna put more cloth physics into the game, but they can't if they want the game to run at a solid 60 frames per second.Comment

Right, but it has nothing to do with disc space like the other guy said. It's like a " view / draw distance " setting in a driving game or first person shooter.

What multi-plat sports games push it though? it sure in the heck isnt NBA Live or Fifa. The crowds in Fifa 10 look terrible. The game looks ok but it runs smooth. NBA2K10 Looks good, but crowds took a hit this year. Stadiums are awesome. To me NHL on both systems look just ok, but not great. Madden looks terrible once you snap the ball.
The only game that is a sports game that really pushes anything that i have seen is single party game and thats what The Show? They only have to design for 1 platform.
Maybe, just maybe the companies arent trying to push graphics because it causes a whole hell of alot of issues.Comment

Still, even the games you mentioned look better or have looked better than MLB 2K series recently. Hell, if 2K10 looked like NHL 10 or NBA 2K10, I'd be pleased. If the gameplay and experience is on par with those, I'll be buying, graphic limitations or not.Comment

But before you get your panties all up in a bunch, had you been reading this thread from the start, you'd see I was one of the people who immediately pointed out how much 2K has improved this game, and how I will be buying two baseball games this year.
I'll tell you what I find ridiculous... the fact that we can't really enjoy the demo but still point out some of it's flaws without being jumped on.Comment

The demo looks good. As I mentioned in another thread though, I am a little worried about the fact that mlb 2k demos usually look much better than the actual games. With that said, I have high hopes for this game and I was BLOWN away with the presentation!"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers Hornsby

How fantastic for you. And, some of us see cardboard cutout fans in the upper decks and jaggies.

Jaggies are not always due to the game or game system. You television itself and its processing of signals is can be entirely the cause of those nasty jagggies. The reasons are fairly complex but you can scour avsforums if you need to know moreComment
