    Left Stick in Hitting?

WOW - I really like the demo!

What do you do with the left stick in hitting? Direct it towards the ball, or use it to "influence" where the hit goes?

    Thanks!

I remember reading that the left analog stick influences where your hit will go.

I'd actually prefer the left stick do nothing and hitting be 100% timing based. I'm not fan of "aiming" my swing. If I want to go the other way, I'll just let the ball go deeper before I swing. I actually haven't been using the left stick at all in the demo, and have had really great results as far as hit variety.

I'm almost positive that one of the developers said this was going to be taklen out. I think it's only in there because the difficulty is on Pro and not All Star, or maybe they didn't have time to take it out of demo.

This is why I use classic swing with Batting Eye on. Once the batters eye goes away i don't touch the LS and its all about where the pitch is thrown and timing of the swing.

I think you're supposed to aim with the left stick because I was horrible with hitting but when I started moving the left stick where the ball was pitched I was doing much better.

              Does the manual say anything?

I do not use it and I'm successful. It'll go depending on timing.

I really prefer timing and using right stick only! Does anyone notice when u use left stick influence the hit balls to outfield tend to just fly high and not many hits?
