Not quite related to this thread but for any Canadians out there, EB Games is offering 50% boost to their trade in credit when you trade games towards the pre-order and purchase of this game. Of course that means you have to wait until Tuesday instead of picking it up early but if you can't get it early this is a good deal.

You should start seeing people getting the game tomorrow. I usually have the game Friday b-4 release but here in the NYC Tri-State area distributors are being really careful about selling early to your local mom & pop store. My guy told me their basically being warned if they get caught selling real early they will be fined.

I'm hoping to have my copy Monday when I get out of work

No one is getting this game early and for good reason...the distributors, like the poster above me stated, are not letting ANYONE get a copy early on.

I have a spot here in West Chester, Oh around the corner from my house that has a copy on the PS3 on hold for me. I just can't take a chance until I get more info on the game. Tempted!!!

dont ask me why but I was at 2 walmarts here in Nor Cal area and saw this game for sale. didn't get it, but definitely walmart is already selling it. Also saw the show for ps2.

I've called five Wal-Marts, nothing so far.

And the search continues...

EDIT: Meh, nine Wal-Marts around my area and nothing. It was pretty great how the last person said, "Sorry sir, we do not carry the Major League Baseball."
