    Wow...What a phenomenal improvement!

As an avid critic of the MLB2k series (and a sad owner of 2k7 and 2k8) I had always been jealous of PS3 owners for their ability to play the Show. Well, after playing the demo for awhile, I believe we finally have a 360 baseball game to be proud of.

The gameplay is great. I love the swing stick and feel like it really adds a level of difficulty that The Show doesn't have. Pitching is fun and challenging at the same time. My one gripe is baserunning, but that's probably just because I have not played long enough to understand how to do it.

However, my biggest plus for this game is the presentation. I mean, it's the best I have ever seen in a video game. Team specific chants are great. But, the realm in which the game goes into PLAYER SPECIFIC CHANTS is amazing. Playing the Yankees and hearing the fans chant, "De-rek Je-ter" and "Rob-bie, Rob-bie..." whenever the specific player is up to bat is amazing. The fans jumping for foul balls is awesome as well.

Another spectacular thing is the game's stat tracking. The fact that it displays a player's '09 stats based on specific situations is so realistic that I get entrenched in the game. I love knowing what Mark Teixiera hit with runners in scoring position with less than 2 outs when there is a guy on third and one out in the game, or finding out what Jimmy Rollins did in '09 against Javier Vazquez.

I didn't expect much from this game, but I'm pleasantly surprised at how much work 2K did to make it extremely realistic. I'm buying!

I'm a stat-junkie and love all the info that gets thrown at you.

Some of the little touches, like the Swing Analyzer and new interfacing, go a long way in the demo. I like the new stat stuff, but I'm also a little skeptical b/c of all the flaws that were in 2k9 (like the "Top Fielder in 206" thing).

Look, I don't mean to put everyone down here but the demo versions for 2K baseball the last three years have been better than the full versions....I am certainly hoping things work out for this game because it has potential but I have not forgotten what Ben Brinkman did to us all a few years back

I like the demo too, but let's calm down a bit here. It's the 1st 3 innings of a Play Now game between the same 2 teams at the same stadium. It is WAY too early to tell. This gives you a basic idea of the gameplay mechanics, but let's not go overboard about how great this game is when none of us have ever gotten past the 3rd inning.
