    MLB 2K10 PS3 Online

I know it is the wrong thread, but with MLB The Show a favorite, how many of you are buying it for the PS3? I am converting from The Show and going 2K this year (haven't played 2K since 2K7). I like how things shaped up this time around and willing to give it another chance.

No one who has a PS3 isn't getting this game? I really do not want to buy The Show.

why not give 2k one last chance.
if u leave out 2k4, 2k5, 2k6, 2k8, and 2k9 their other games were great.

Why are you converting to 2k? Just curious... Sounds like a terrible move

yes but 2k7 been offering from 2k for the next gen systems...
            hopefully 2k10 will surpass it!
Im getting it for ps3 but im a little worried because all the footage was on xbox and i hope the game will be equally good on both systems. I mean graphically, the ps3 is the better system, IMO

The fact is that most ps3 games either have no anti-aliasing or 2x anti-aliasing while most 360 games have 4x anti-aliasing (There is a list out there to prove it.) Right when I got ps3 and started playing MGS 4 and MLB 09 the show I immediately was distracted by all the jaggies therefore I disagree with your statement.

                well to each his own
ive owned the 360 and wasnt all that happy.
a great system yes but once i played games on my ps3 they just seemed to pop out more. Just my opinion.
Like i said, i hope 2k10 is equally as good as it is on 360.
I actually like the cartoony look the player models have. MVP-esque.

Lads, come on now, no console war here.

I'm a PS3 owner. I'll get the demo on there, and see how it is, but I'll get the game for PC with the modding capability. I hope I'm wrong, but have a feeling the PS3 version will be a port.

Most seem to think PS3 owners have it good in baseball gaming, but I've yet to be blown away by the options.

                    no no war
im just stating my opinion, if its going to cause this thread to get locked then i wont post anymore.
im just hoping for a great game on both consoles.
$60 a game i think both buyers deserve a good game.

I am more of a football guy, so baseball gameplay doesn't intrigue me as much. Basically, I do not know what good gameplay is for a baseball game. I played MLB 2K4, 2K7, The Show 07 and 08, a tadbit of The Show 09. I was never fully integrated into baseball and never played it long term. The reason I am buying MLB 2K, is it makes baseball feel more alive instead of dull (like TV). I downloaded the MLB 2K9 demo, and the game didn't feel boring (and that pitching looks pretty sweet instead of the old X button). The presentation in MLB 2K takes baseball to an entire different level and since I really do not know what good gameplay is, being I am a football fan, I am going with presentation. I will learn the game and play baseball. I bought MLB Front Office Manager a few months ago, that game is pretty hard but I am starting to learn the aspects. Yes, I heard the reviews but I enjoy it nonetheless.

being a Royals fan was very random too, dating back to MLB 2K4 lol

                        Re: MLB 2K10 PS3 Online

I'll be picking it up for ps3(as well as The Show). I am a huge baseball and hockey fan. So I pick up both EA's and 2K's offering in each sport.

PSN- Matt_350z -anyone may feel free to throw me a friend request.

On a side note- I have noticed very few differences in sports games between the 360 and PS3 versions. Besides a few years ago when the ps3 versions of EA's games were running at 30 fps. Even then, that was negligible. It seems a lot of 2k sports games don't support custom soundtracks on PS3 either. However, I prefer the dual shock controller. I went through 6 360's since 2005. I am waiting on a repair right now. I've been picking up most games for my ps3 for some time now. To each their own.
