I'll probably use the Cubs in my first franchise, but I plan on doing My Player when I first get the game. Not sure if I'm going to be a position player or a closer first, so I think I might just do both and do a little of each here and there.

I was gonna do a position player and a closer with My Player as well.

We can have it so that we're randomly placed on a team right?

I'm not sure. Worst case scenario, you could go into quick play mode and hit random team and then put your guy on that team or something like that if you want it to be random.

I think I'm gonna play for the Cubs as my closer and then maybe a random team for my position player which I'm leaning towards 2B.

This is totally off topic, But I noticed

talking about my player before franchise. I was wondering are any of you guys interested or thought about My player with the Minors edited so the names and prospects were right. I just think thatd be awesome. Also I will be takin the Rangers or Marlins (I am a Ohio baseball fan Red-Tribe though) but I plan on waiting till the minors are done and with 2K Share If we got a project up to do your fav. teams System. We could have it banged out in two or three days you think about 30 mins tops to edit the names of your organization

According to ChaseB, the created names in the minors dont match up with their real life counter parts. If the prospects WERE matched up, Steven Strausburg's created player would be something like Sam Smith, or something where the first and last name began with S.

I'm just worried people will get the prospects wrong, thats all. I may just start my franchise and work out my team using Spring Training.

I will be building from the ground up with my beloved Buccos again. I have absolutely no hope of ever seeing them win again in real life so i may as well do it myself lol.

Yeah I understand that too, But how hard is it to find the matching position, Skill rank at that position and Matching cosmetics. (I.E.- Skin color, Age, Throw/bat handness)

Not all of the prospects are in there accoding to ChaseB. I asked him to check a few for the Pirates (Pedro Alvarez--their top prospect, and Jose Tabata), and he said he couldn't find anyone that compared to either of those players.

Definetely keep me posted though if your editing all the rosters with the minor league prospects...I would be interested in seeing that
