Rip music off of YouTube.

Get a Male-to-Male cable, plug one side of the cable into the microphone and the other into the headset section. Download Goldwave (free) and press record - wala.

Usually laptops have 2 headset outlets so plug another headset in to listen to the song played to see if it is loud enough.

You should be able to stream from your /My Music folder on your PC/Laptop. The option was available last year anyway. There are plenty of tutorials online.

Has anyone at all put in any custom music yet?
I am wondering if this feature is making my game freeze.
As soon as I fired up the game I put in my custom music and the game freezes right before the first pitch everytime I try to play.
I was just thinking maybe the custom music is causing the game to freeze???
I have read all the impressions and no one seems to have the same freezing issue that I have. The game freezes everytime when it is showing the visiting teams line up.

The very first thing I did when I got the game was add in some custom tunes! The game didn't freeze once. Which area did you add custom music? Batter/Pitcher entrances or stadiums? I just did stadium music, cause I don't have any play list ready for individual players. Maybe player entrance music is bugged...? I'll check it out today.

Heads up for anyone who adds custom music! Raise the volume of your custom music in the presentation settings section. It's default volume is way too low. I think I raised mine to 70. I love how the intro to a game is long, cause if you have an intro song for your stadiums, the song will play for at least a minute while the commentators talk about the days match up(could have been a long intro cause it was a playoff game though, I'm not too sure if all game intros are that long). I have "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum and "The Boys Are Back In Town" by Thin Lizzy for Angels Stadium's intro(two songs that the Angels actually use). It was so cool hearing Spirit in the Sky in the background before the start of my ALDS game against the Yanks! I had the same intro for 2k8, but the game intro in that was only like 10 seconds. It was nice to hear a good chunk of my custom music for once!

"Calling All Angels" by Train. (It's in the Angels history montage that plays before each game.)

"Build Me Up Butter Cup" by The Foundations ( 7th inning stretch music)
"Jump Around" by House of Pain (Rally Monkey music... The best spot to have this song play in 2k10, is during the 7th inning stretch. You can create a play list with this song AND "Buttercup" to be used during the 7th inning stretch)

"Twist and Shout" by The Beatles ( Angels victory)

"The Boys Are Back In Town" by Thin Lizzy ( I think this is played when the team comes back home from a road trip.)

"The House is Rockin'" by Stevie Ray Vaughn & Double Trouble (I forgot when this is played... Might be before the game starts.)

"Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum (Played before game)

That's all I can think of right now.

When a batter goes to the plate it only plays 2 second of the song or the song plays well into the second pitch of the atbat? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to edit my songs? Do I need to change an audio setting?

I'm new to this custom music thing so if someone could help me out I'd be appreciative.

It's probably the game. Sometimes the music I have set to play after a hit will play for a few seconds, and other times it will play longer.

I can't wait for the season to begin. I'm going to hold off on custom tracks for my batters until I hear what tracks they're using this year. Though I may add the normal Stadium music.
