Re: 2K Ron asking for patch feedback

Get fielding throwing meter back to what it was in 2k8 where it controlled speed accuracy and arm strength..

    Option to switch fielders

ability to turn cpu assist off when fielding

Ability to call off other fielders when catching a fly ball also collisions when you dont

you cannot throw to a cut off unless you press LB. should be able to have the cut off guy get it after ball is thrown, like 2k8

I agree with you. Seems every year there is an option to disable cpu fielder assist, so it wouldn't be an issue. Is there no option this year, or does disabling it not work right?

I don't think there is an option and there are virtually no sliders in this area as well. I hope I'm wrong here but I doubt it.

Re: 2K Ron asking for patch feedback

          My list thus far:

          * Stealing, stealing, stealing - It's got to be fixed. It's nearly impossinle to steal even with the highest-rated speed guys in the game. In theory, the idea of holding the trigger down and timing your release is good. However, there's just too much of a delay between the release of the trigger and the jump. In order to steal, I essentially have to guess when the pitcher is going to the throw, when in reality a guy trying to steal jumps at the first move the pitcher makes toward the plate. There seems to be a huge discrepancy between the time the pitcher makes his move and when my player makes his jump.

          * Auto-save. - There's got to be some way to turn it off.

          * My Player pitch counts - Pitch counts are unusually high in My Player. The competing pitcher in one of my games last night had 122 pitches in the 6th inning. That appears to be the norm.

          * Potential Ratings - There should be a way for us to see opposing team's potential ratings.

          * Opposing team line-up - I'd like to be able to see the opposing team's line-up and from which side of the plate their hitters swing from. I'd also like to see what the opposing pitcher's pitch repertoire is. (There may be a way to see it. If so I'm missing it.)

Tone down the gold glove pitcher fielding.

Also, very minor and probably won't be looked into until next year. Post pitch replays: the ball does not rotate/spin. IMO, 2K7 had the BEST post pitch replays ever. You see a close up of the pitch as it is reaching the batter and the spin of the ball. Classic.

Anyone seeing any errors at all. Played 5 games and have not seen one. Maybe this needs to be addressed as well.

Too many hard line drives hit right at infielders. Don't really see any between the infielders just between them.

Where is the real-time presentation? It's like the computer is skipping everything for me. Is this just how it's supposed to be?

2K needs to go in and fix every single damn MLB-level contract. Otherwise, their will be no point to comp. picks because teams can re-sign all their stars...the Pirates, Marlins, etc. will be able to re-sign everyone they want to because their budget isn't accurately reflected and contract amount are too low, and player contract demands are too low as well.

I'm confused, I looked at the Mets players salaries and they all looked on point.

Actually, they're not. I'm editing salaries and had to change Santana ($20mm + for the next 5yrs), Ollie ($12.5M/2yrs), Beltran (goes to the $20mm for next 2 yrs) Bay(he's around $8mm for this year, then balloons to $17mm the next 3 yrs) and on, and on.......

actual salaries are not that critical to me, but if they're not relative to the team's budgets in the game or if the program is messed up so that the superstars aren't getting the increases they deserve then there's a problem.

Now I don't know if I should buy the PC version or wait until the patch comes out. Not going to buy a game when it might never get the patch.

Ik this is minor but it would be nice if the enhanced the HR hit and removed the arrow, because you know its a homer if the arrow shows up pointing to the wall. If they took that out it would make it more suspensefull. The first time i played(before i knew about the arrow) i thought i had hit a homer with griffey but carlos beltran made a heck of a catch to rob me and it felt authentic.
