Has anyone gotten to the draft yet? Are all the players drafted under 6 feet tall still? I know most people don't give a crap but i prefer the game to be as realistic as possible, and at least have the first couple of rounds filled with prospects that are physically impressive.

      Thanks in advance...

Hi, the other day I had to reformat my PC but because I wanted to keep my saved Players and franchises I copied the entire game folder on my external harddrive. After copying it back onto my computer it wouldnt' work and I had to reinstall the whole game. So now im hoping I can copy the data responsible for saving games etc from the older gamefolder into the new gamefolder. Just I dont really know which files I need. The most important ones would be the ones saving "My Player".
Can anyone tell me which ones they are?

            Couple of questions...
            1. I'm playing my Franchise with the Red Sox and I played through Spring Training and I'm about 4 games deep into the regular season but the stats didn't reset. Instead of showing this years stats, is just adding to the 09' season stats... is there a point in the season when it stops doing this and just only shows 10' stats?
            2. I'm having a really hard time throwing runners out stealing. I can pick them off on first before they go, but if they wanna take second, they pretty much get it...any tips?

I'm about to buy this game soon, couple of questions:

              1) can classic hitting/pitching be used online?

              2) I forgot my 2nd question

For #1, you have to click "Sim to the start of the regular season" once you're done doing what you want to do (or playing games) in Spring Training. That will reset everything.

Drop the slider for cpu steal success down to 35 and it is pretty darn good right there. You might want to drop your pickoff success down a bit too from default.

How the heck do I get hits? I can get about 1-2 singles per inning, if that. Extra base hits are few and far between. I finally hit my 1st homer while playing in franchise. I switched back to classic hitting where I found some success, but not a lot. I get a ton of ground outs.

Any help at all would be great.

Classic hitting has a lot less power than using the swing stick. If you use classic hitting you will need to boost up user power (maybe 25-30 points higher than swing stick roughly). Other than that maybe lower pitch speed to help your eye.

How do you check pitcher stamina? Pitcher stamina for the opponent? I've noticed from time to time a box in the lower right hand corner of the screen that gives the option for a mound visit and something else but don't know how to access the box. also, if I have a man on first and want to advance him to third on a base hit to right, how do you advance him without advancing both runners? I have the PS3 version btw

If you pause the game, at the bottom of the lineups it shows the pitchers info, including stamina.

If you are baserunning, you can move the R stick in towards the base you want the runner to go to. This will send the runner you have highlighted to the selected base, to change runners, press X i believe.

Stealing is non-existent in my game. I've tried stealing, but the catcher gets the ball to 2nd before my guy even makes his break. I have to work on figuring out how to properly steal, it'll be a big help when I figure that out. I still get messed up with the advancing runners buttons. I'll want one guy to score, but end up sending all runners, or the opposite.

Try and time the release of the LT with the pitcher's lead leg. Once he brings that knee up, let go of the trigger and that will start your runner towards 2B. I still get thrown out, but I'd say my success rate is higher than it was previously ... of course I just got picked off 1B in a Franchise game today and it was in the 8th inning and I was trailing by one. Wound up losing the game 7-2 so it didn't matter much, but still was annoying.

My question is, where can I find guys that start the season on the disabled list? I'm looking for Carlos Beltran, specifically, in my franchise and he's nowhere on the Mets' roster.
