Ranked Game "Team Select Glitch" Workaround!

Okay, the first day I obtained the game, I did not have this problem that other users have reported. However, come the next day, the problem happened to me. In fact, it transferred over to NBA for some reason, and I couldn't play that game online either. It did it to me over 20 times in a row, so I kept trying to study the cause, and since I have found this very easy workaround, the result has been 100 percent when connecting.

When you select a ranked game, it will say "loading online roster" and then "restoring default roster" and move on to connect to a player. However, after it attempts to connect to another user afterwords, it will sometimes say "restoring default roster" a second time. If you see the "restoring default roster" a second time, then the glitch will happen. Simply press "A" to cancel the connection and try a ranked game again.

You should only see the game say "restoring default roster" once. Anymore than one time will cause the glitch.

Please report here if this doesn't work.

Are you referring to the glitch where the players' gamertags don't show up and therefore you can cycle through all the teams but can't select one?

That bug has been bugging the crap out of me in NBA 2k10 ever since their 2nd patch was released.

Honestly, I'm not gonna bother playing this game online because you can pretty much throw a good fastball every time and you'll never get hit.

Yes, that same glitch caused by Patch 2 of NBA. However, in MLB, it did it to me over 20 times in a row. It then did it to me for 6 times in a row counting in NBA (it used to do it once every 10 or 15 games, so it never bothered me much). This workaround may work for NBA. Please report if it does.

lets set up a private game and i bet i get some hits. NOw i am not saying i will score 10 runs, but i can hit the ball. Most i have scored was 7 points. just won a game 4-0 right now 0 home runs which is freaking nice, but i have hit home runs. ONce you get the timing down, youc an hit. it takes a little while, but its not that difficult. Whats difficult is knowing whats a ball and whats a strike. Alot of online gamers try to throw ALOT of balls.
