Clutch moments must be broken. Top of the 9th,down 2 with 2 runners in position and 2 outs. I hit a HR and got the dramatic cam and all that but no clutch moment. Don't see how that wouldn't be one. Then of course they blow the game for the 358th time and I get up again in the 11th with 1 our and that wasn't one either (though I can see how that could not be one).

Re: Official MLB 2K10 Glitches/Bugs Thread
I had a problem with the Pitcher or 3rd baseman stealing my pop ups while I was playing SS. I found that if I preloaded a throw to a base they'd back-off and my guy would catch the ball. I *think* this works, but it may just be my imagination. Give it a shot. You'll never throw the ball away, so don't worry about that. It could be a crappy work around if it works for others.
Thanks for the idea. I'll give it a try. I still hope they fix this in a patch though. lolComment

Re: Official MLB 2K10 Glitches/Bugs Thread
It only caught about 1 second of the actual glitch. That part right at the first there, that went on for like 30 seconds then I pressed RT trying to go back to first but that didn't work, then LT to head towards 3rd and that just made him run around in circles on the other side of the bag and finally pressed down on the right stick and that fixed it as you can see at the end of the vid. That was in My Player.
Another one:
No effort was made to make that catch at all. Just landed on his shoulder and bounced off onto the ground.Last edited by goh; 03-23-2010, 04:19 AM.Comment

Re: Official MLB 2K10 Glitches/Bugs Thread
I had a couple of new ones:
1) I hit a high fly ball that grazed the wall as it came down into the outfielder's glove who was camping underneath waiting for the catch and it was registered as an out. I know sometimes the animations will "magnetize" the ball into the outfielder's glove and it may have just been a one in a million shot, but still, it was incorrect and should have been a hit.
2) I hit a pop fly into shallow CF with runners on 2nd and 3rd with less than two outs. As the ball was coming down, all of the sudden the runners on 2nd and 3rd take off and I'm yelling at them "what are you doing?!" Lo and Behold, the CF DROPS the fly ball--that's right, an error animation--and the runners both score. Now glitch "A" is that the runners knew he was going to drop the ball before he actually did and took off. Glitch "B" is that my player was actually given RBIs for the runs scored on the error. I may be a bit rusty on my baseball scoring, but I think they should NOT be counted as RBI's.Comment

Here's one I uncovered yesterday in a franchise mode game. I was playing Texas, and for some bizarre reason, they were wearing the jerseys of the Astros.Comment

I don't know if this has been said, and I'm not entirely sure if it's a glitch or bug, but here goes:
Every first pitch in My Player mode by the CPU pitcher is always 5-8mph slower than the listed pitch speed. 96mph Fastball listed? Not if it's the first pitch. It's now 89."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

As you can see I clearly tagged the runner out as he was coming for home however he crosses the plate and the run still counts and he wasn't out.Comment

That being said, I wasn't sure if it is the pitcher trying the "get-it-over" mentality to get ahead in the count, but it definitely happens every time. It also makes it tough to time pitchers in MP. Since you don't get to watch them before your plate appearance and time them from the on-deck circle, you are dependant upon that first pitch to give you a sense of his motion and pitch speed. Often times, because of the variable pitch speed on that first pitch, it takes 3-4 pitches to get a feel for the timing. That usually results in 0 for 1s and 0 for 2s and I get my hits in the later innings...and then half the time the pitcher is changed and I get to go through the process all over againComment

Re: Official MLB 2K10 Glitches/Bugs Thread
I notied something weird in the pitcher fatigue glitch (the BIG ONE)... It still needs to be fixed, but....
when the user's fatigue resets to 99, the pitch meter is still VERY fast, as if the pitcher is still tired. Now, I think the 99 energy also affects how well the CPU hits the ball, and they don't do nearly as well when it resets. But the gestures remain sped up, making it a bit harder to hit location.
Just a quirk to this glitch. Hope they get the whole thing fixed.Comment

The cpu doesn't gain anything back either when their stamina resets, all their pitches are still slower than if they were at the beginning of the game, and they have a much harder time hitting the strike zone.
Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see what's wrong.Comment

Re: Official MLB 2K10 Glitches/Bugs Thread
I don't get what's wrong about this. The fatigue reset is only a graphical error, and it also causes the AI not to manage pitchers correctly. Pitchers are still fatigued and have harder time hitting their spots as they should when the stamina number resets. The pitch meter should stay very fast.

If the glitch was just graphical, I don't think people would be so upset about it. I could be wrong, though. I was just pointing out that the glitch doesn't seem to affect user pitchers.
That said, there is a major AI managment glitch. Anytime you put up more than 2 first inning runs on an AI pitcher, the CPU pinch hits for him. They need to patch this so that pitchers stay in until they give up at least 4 runs, maybe 5.Comment
