    Draft Question

One thing that I was really ticked off about last year was the draft. My biggest issue was the fact that seemingly 75% of the pitchers available in the draft were under 6' and weighed about 170 lbs.

This is pretty much the exact opposite of real life where most pitchers are over 6' and a large number of those guys are 6'3" or taller and weigh well into the 200's.

Also, there were a ton of position players with measurements like 5'7 and 220lbs or something in that area.

Has this issue been fixed this year? Are most of the pitchers over 6'0 and are players generally more realistically sized?

I'll check it out, give me about 10-20 minutes and I'll simulate to the draft.

Okay, so I simulated to the draft. I'd say 3/5ths of the players are OVER 6 feet tall. No one was taller than 6'5, no one was shorter than 5'9. Also, you can't see potential in the draft, but the computer can see it The nats selected a 99 potential catcher, the highest potential of my guys was 77.

Thanks for checking. Good to know I won't be forced to draft a bunch of short guys this year.

You could be right, I'm going to check out the draft again later tonight. I'll write down the first round picks and check them out to see their potential.
