    Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist

    1. Improve the way the fans look. They look too bright and kinda highlighted at times. Put more variety in the way they look (sunglasses, overshirts, hats, etc.) Have them walk up and down the aisles and sit down. Get rid of the 2D fans. I see people who arent in seats who are watching the game standing up, they are 2D and dont even move. Put some motion in there.

    2. The seats look like benches instead of seats. I remember in 2K8 you had seats, but they were way too far apart. Put seats in there like real life. Also fix the way they are arranged. The seats in the outfield are too elevated above the outfield walls. And the seats in foul territory in the front rows next to the dugouts, they seem too far back away from the walls. Another thing Ive noticed, was in places like Turner Field, the aisles are too wide.

    3. Make the fans interact more. Improve them snagging foul balls and have them diving over the walls in foul territory for the ground balls in foul territory. And have the fans cheers and chants better. If I were to hit a walkoff grandslam to win the World Series, the fans would be quiet. They sound like they are at a little league baseball game. I wanna hear the roar of the crowd.

    4. In clutch situations, I wanna see the fans on theyre feet cheering. And when there is an out or two away from winning a ball game.

    5. I love the commentary this year, but when I get a base hit, they say that its a base hit after the fielder has picked up the ball. They should say it as it happens, not after.

    6. Improve the way the bats look. They look like plastic bats. Make them look like wood and more like the color of wood.

    7. Fix stray cameras(if havent already).

    8. I hate seeing the players just stand there for a few seconds after a play. so thats needs to be fixed.

    9. Fix the way the grass looks. I dont like seeing checkered designs in them. Have them rolled into lanes. Make the colors of the grass more realistic as well. Fix the infield too. In 2K10, the dirt looks like it has milk in it.

    10. Also improve the way the players look. The faces dont look so real. And make the uniforms look more realistic too. Like make them baggier. Not too baggy though. Just make them look like they do in real life. There is something about the letter on the front that dont look right. Make the short sleeves look real too. Also make the size of the players and stadium look real. The players look too small and kinda skinny.

    11. Make the wrinkles in the players uniforms more real. something that I have noticed is if you look at the back of the players knees, there are wrinkles. Unrealistic. Make the pants baggier and have them go over the shoe tops.

    12. Improve on the way the players run the bases. Looks choppy like some other animations do. Like batting. Some of the batting animations are choppy. Get rid of the players falling down after a swing. On occasion I see players fall down after a swing.

    13. Put more animations in there. Also put more signiture (stances, walk ups, pitching deliveries, etc.)

    14. Put batting practice before games too. Dont forget to include the gate things behind homeplate during batting practice. And have a few fans walking around, and basically the whole place empty during BP.

    15. Put realistic colors in the game on player, fans, coaches, and everywhere. Ive noticed in 2K9, the Yankees uniforms looked really pale. Improved that this year. Stuff like that sticks out and grabs the gamers attention and gets them into it.

They should allow your created team to be able to play in the franchise mode and or your superstar mode! they should also allow you to create a stadium as well like Madden games do

It's time to incorporate a little momentum in the fielding. Especially for shortstops and 3rd basemen ranging to their right to snag a grounder and able to STOP ON A DIME to gather themselves and throw a laser to first in time to get the runner. NOT POSSIBLE! Momentum should make them take an extra few steps before making that type of throw.

          Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist

Now that both patches are out we can put a lid on the 2K10 game and start looking to next year. Here is what I'd like to see:

          1. Physics based player movement. Hands down this is one of the two biggest issues with this game. BB is using the Euphoria engine and even Madden and NCAA are implementing some type of physics related player movement. FIFA has had a system in place for 3 years. IMO, it's a must for MLB2K11. The animations and player control in this game are abysmal and there is no excuse next year. The herky jerky, slow down, spin/stop on a dime is archaic technology at best.

          2. AI Management-I will give the devs credit that this improved over 2K9, but that's not saying much. So let's not pat each other on the back too quickly. IMO, this is one of the most important factors a baseball game can have. Baseball is a game of strategy, x's and o's, and making the right move at the right time. I don't see this in this title. Maybe IE needs to be improved, maybe the programming needs to be tweaked. Whatever it is, open the hood and get busy on it, because without it all of the other time and effort into everything else is wasted.

          3. Another year..Another BIG mistake-EVERY year it is something with this game.

          2008-No stolen bases
2009-Overly aggressive CPU plate appearances. I guess that IE thing didn't work too well huh?
          2010-No errors/in game injuries

Call it what you want but does anyone see a pattern developing here? This is absolutely ridiculous. Priority one for next year's game should be to figure out a way to get errors and injuries(without screwing something else up) in the game and then move on to what the back of the box feature will be. May I also suggest a community day with enough time in between to make changes based on feedback.

          4. Signature player moves and swings-I've always thought that these types of things were a bit overrated, but I was wrong. They go a long way in adding realism. Never realized until MVP 05..remember that one? From 6 years ago?!?!?!?! No excuses.

          5. Pitching Control- I know that a lot of people are having issues hitting spots too easily. I can say that I'm not, but regardless, the control ratings of pitchers needs to have a bigger impact on pitch location. I enjoy the pitching mechanic but it needs to be tweaked or ripped out. The meter for Halladay needs to work differently than the meter for Doug Davis. The pitching meter in MVP baseball was hands down the easiest, best, most realistic one to date. The green zone(strike) was bigger for better pitchers and smaller for average to below average. It's that simple. It also changed based on the pitcher's ability to throw certain types of pitches. 2k needs to look at this but add logic based on pitch counts and a pitcher's tendencies to throw certain pitches in certain situations. This would add a lot more realism to a game heading in the right direction.

Overall 2K10 was a HUGE improvement over 2K9, but again, that wasn't really hard to do in a full dev cycle. 2K10 is a fun, enjoyable, solid baseball title. A big step in the right direction. With a few improvements 2K11 could be right we we want it to be.

Another thing id like to add is the amount of balls hit back at the pitcher and are caught by the pitcher. Very unrealistic. Dont forget to make about everything realistic, and i mean the people in the stands and the field. EVERYTHING.

Also dont make the game so rushed. I want to throw the pitch and have the pitcher get ready to throw the next. I hate seeing that after every pitch, you have a flash of blue that stops the animations and skips to the next pitch. It ruins the flow and realism of the game.

                Re: MLB 2K11 Wishlist

Another thing ive noticed was, sometimes the fielders would throw the ball one direction and it would go another completely different direction. Same with running. After a runner crossed home plate or gets out, they head to the wrong dugout, then go to the correct one. If i havent mentioned this b4, id like you to fix when a runner would run into the first base umpire after getting out or any other umpire. The 1st and 3rd base coaches make wierd movements like moving side to side like they are impatiently waiting for something.

That was fixed in the patch apparently (I wouldn't know, since I have the PC version, which hasn't had the patch yet )

my only complain with My Player mode is, that in the opening it shouldnt just go straight to the sim screen. it should do what it does during a franchise game. do the lineups, show the stadium, and talk about the starting pitcher. also when you are in the field and on base there should be the normal thing that pops up that shows the avg. hr. rbi. and the obp. also when you are in the field there should be more then just one pitch.

                        MLB 2K11 Wishlist

A lot of good suggestions.. the lack of errors is inexcusable in my book. Another thing I would like to see since I enjoy the simulation aspect of games like this is a viewable manager mode (like they have in MLB the Show) and not the encrypted game sim they have now. I would like to sit back sometimes and watch the game unfold as I make the strategic decisions (and give my hand eye coordination a rest once in a while). I realize I am in the minority on this one so I am not holding my breath for this to be changed, but this is a "wish" list after all.

One last thing that would be more realistic is to be able to use Alternate Jerseys on the road (like many teams do). In MLB2K10, Cleveland and Atlanta are about the only teams I can recall that wear the gray pants with the alternate Jersey. In real life, Toronto and the White Sox have gone to the alternate road jersey almost as much if not more than the gray top. I like the White Sox black tops but it looks goofy having them wear them on the road only to have the white pin stripe pants at the same time.

Since this is actually a wishlist thread, I'm not gonna include the things that should've been in there already in the Wishlist. I'll make a seperate list for that.

Things that should've been in MLB 2K10
                          1. Errors - They can change the momentum and outcome of a game.
                          2. Injuries
                          3. Classic Controls ( PC )

                          MLB 2K11 Wishlist
                          1. Better Sim Engine
                          2. Better Lookin' Uniforms - The numbers are too big and the lettering isn't authentic.
                          3. Better Lookin' Crowd - It's really bad in MLB 2K10 considering it's the year 2010.
                          4. Better HRD - How 'bout we get an authentic version of this that is actually fun. It's been terrible since MLB 2K9.
                          5. Cursor Batting Method - Like Pro Baseball Spirits ( I hope The Show has this next year too. )

Honestly, I just hope they start caring more about making the game than promoting it. If I was Bud Selig ( MLB Commissioner ), I'd tell 2K sports to kick rocks, then hand the license over to EA.

2k- hire this guy to mo cap batting stances...
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

                                - have the weather effect the game, for example, its sunny and the ball is hit really high, make it harder to see the ball indicator.

                                -better fielding animations

-use zone hitting, point left analog stick in the direction of the ball approaching home plate.

                                - bring back baggy uniforms.

                                - better looking mitts, bats, and cleats.let us be able to customize more parts of the cleats.give the bats more texture.also have better looking elbow guards.add more webbings for the gloves

                                - catchers taking off helmets on pop-ups behind home plate.

                                -catcher mode.

                                - better looking fans, and on foulballs or homeruns, the fans jump for the ball way too early and way too late.

-more signatures styles(some need to be better.)

-different swings(toe taps, foot turns, low, medium, high leg lifts) (one handed, two handed swings

                                albert pujols(foot turn,one handed swing)
                                prince fielder(toe tap,two handed swing)
