2K Ticker

I've tried all the remedies described on this and 2k's site, but still cannot get the in
game ticker to scroll. What am I doing wrong? How often does it show up during actual
gameplay? Is it located at the bottom of the screen? Sorry for being a putz.

I know it works in Franchise. It disappears after the ball is hit, then comes back when the next hitter is up.

I've not seen it either. Played a dozen games in franchise and have it set to show scores from games within my franchise and................nothing. Is there a workaround for this?

Yeah me too, and I've done the setting the ticker in the 2k ticker menu as well. But I'm thinking it only works if you're hooked up ON line and getting real scores with the franchise scores.

I really don't think it works for just franchise scores.

So everyone who is seeing the ticker is online? Does it show transactions as well, or just scores from inside the franchise?

well, i tried, re doing my franchise and picked 'franchise' for the setting and still nothing


what do u actually see with this?

It is advertised as having a scroll on the bottom of the screen (like watching ESPN), with flowing scores/transactions from your 2K franchise, as well as real time scores (with xbox live). Can someone post a pic of what it looks like?

I have only seen headlines from my franchise on the ticker during games. The only time I get scores on the ticker is when I'm on a Franchise menu.

But is your ticker strictly offline? Or do you have it hooked to the internet to give you real scores as well?

Because it appears that the ticker doesn't show just for those using offline franchise.

You have to turn it on before you start your franchise...

I did that, it still doesn't work, unless it doesn't start until you get to opening day-- I'm still in spring training. But again, my 360 is not hooked up to the internet. It's strictly off line.
