New Glitch for drafted players!!! please fix!!

I love the game so far, but during the draft there are reproduced current MLB stars as draftees. Which i think is a great addition to mix up the faces.
Two Main Issues:
1) The reproduced mlb players cause the game to freeze when they come to bat. It doesnt happen every time, but it does happen enough for me to log on to OS and make a post about it.
2) when you call up players for the 40 man roster in september any reproduced drafted players cause the game to freeze when they come up to bat (doesnt happen everytime, but give it a try and you will see)
***can someone get this issue in the right hands in time for the first patch???

Are you talking about the guys who are basically reincarnated(like Raul Ibanez, Chase Utley, Youkilis, etc.)?

I haven't experienced a freeze with them yet, how many games have you played with them?

i had originally drafted the reproduced youkilis for my future first baseman for the pirates....and also drafted the reproduced McCain for my future catcher.....when i called them up in september the game froze every time they came up to bat.....when i went to the next season it didnt happen again (12 games played prior) until last night in a game in june.

At first i thought it was a september glitch, but when it happened last night....i thought i should share and see if anyone else is having this issue.

I'll check it out. I actually have a franchise where everyone I drafted was a reincarnated player, so I'll try it out and see if I experience the issue. Hope they fix it though, not sure why they decided to reproduce current mlb'ers in the draft anyway.

thx man! anything helps the faces last year were too repetative and at least we have options. I am the same way with the reproduced players they look the best

Only took me one try, and guess what. It froze. Really hope they fix this in a patch, because that really limits who you can draft, and I guess the only workaround is to drop every reproduced player to 0 in everything so you never see them. 2k

Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention. This might be tied to calling the player up. I didn't have the problem until I sent one of them down and then brought him up a few days later(did this just to test if that was the problem).

How do you know who is reproduced? Do the drafted players share the same name and appearance? That would be kind of weird to have two of the same players in the league at the same time.

Not the same name, but the same face, birthdate(although year is changed), batting stance/pitcher windup, and at least eye rating(draft pujols duplicate and he had 99 and 98 eye ratings). Potentials luckily are not the same as their counterpart, but they can be high(Jeter clone had 98 potential).

I agree, but I'd hope they either already knew about it(doubtful), or can put it in the 2nd patch if they make one. Although by that time I might already be past the draft.

i tested it last night and found a solution. If you call up the reincarnated/reproduced drafted player in August instead of September it doesn't freeze in September. If you call them up in September it will freeze every time. I tested this solution 10 times to make sure and it didn't freeze. I think the glitch is associated to the 40 man roster.

I'll try it out, but my freeze occured just a few days after the draft, so I'm not so sure the 40 man roster is the problem. But I'll see what happens, hope this works.

yeah, it doesnt freeze everytime during the season, but the system will pick a random series for it to happen - man I hope this gets addressed in the first patch!! i
