I do not have the PC version. I can not help you here.
Use the power swing more often. I'd lay off the LS too. -

Currently there is no way to switch to classic hitting in PC. There is a thread on the 2K forums where people have searched everywhere and haven't been able to find it.Go Colts, Go Irish!!

Hitting has been pretty easy for me...I hated the hit stick when you had to pull it back even for contact but I really like it now. It works much better.
I still think there should be an option for classic, but 2k's track record of PC patches appears to be pretty iffy.Go Colts, Go Irish!!

You can remap your controller to eliminate the swing stick. What I don't know though is if you don't set your hitter is his power diminished?Hitting has been pretty easy for me...I hated the hit stick when you had to pull it back even for contact but I really like it now. It works much better.

From what I've read remapping doesn't work....I also tried it and the batter just wouldn't swing for the button I pressed.Go Colts, Go Irish!!

Re: Hitting PC Version
Sounds real familar. It got so bad that I changed my view from behand the plate to directly behind the pitcher. Now I've played a lot of these baseball games from EA to 2K and everywhere in between and have never, EVER used this particular view. lol, only scored 3 runs but put up 12 hits which was a MAJOR step forward for me. Not a bad game but I miss using the buttons on Classic.Comment
