Re: Workaround for pitcher stamina glitch?
i thought the fix was to reset to default rosters because that worked for me in the 1 game I played but someone else said they did that and it still happened -

Re: Workaround for pitcher stamina glitch?
I've played at least a dozen games by now and the opposing pitchers do indeed fatigue by the 7,8,9 innings. By the 8th inning they usually get around 30 stamina. I've even had Peavy get below 20 stamina by the 9th inning. Here's what I did to get the stamina to work.

Re: Workaround for pitcher stamina glitch?
I just had this happen again, stupid to have picture reset to best stuff in 8th inning; and no this is not realistic. Handful of elite pictures should have good stuff throughout game, but not everyone. Is there a real workaround, or have to wait on patch. cannot play franchise with this bug.Comment

Re: Workaround for pitcher stamina glitch?
The suggested workaround does not work in the testing I have done.
Pitcher fatigue resets to 99 after the stamina drops to 25. It is a cosmetic appearance though as the pitcher does not regain velocity. However, I does effect how the manager makes pitching changes. I have seen Jered Weaver throw over 180 pitches in one game. This occurs with any roster set, even the default. I tested this as soon as I read about this a few days ago. CPU managers will make pitching changes if the situation is right, but if the pitcher is doing well, they will leave them in until their arm falls off. What we would like to see is that any pitcher be removed around the 130 pitch mark no matter what's going on as the most pitches thrown by any pitcher last season was 133. There were only 93 games out of 4,860 where a pitcher threw more than 120 pitches. That's only 2% of all the games played last season.Comment

Re: Workaround for pitcher stamina glitch?
Try moving the fatigue slider to 80. I have only seen pitcher go the whole way and he only thru 90 pitches.Comment

Re: Workaround for pitcher stamina glitch?
As for the glitch itself, I'm not too bothered by it since the CPU does not "improve" when the stamina resets. There velocity remains lower than at the beginning of the game and their breaking pitches do not move as much. Of course, I would like to see the managers yank them sooner, but the game is playing pretty well otherwise.Comment

Re: Workaround for pitcher stamina glitch?
Changing the fatigue will impact you and the CPU. Depending upon your playstyle, that may work for you. Personally, I am able to get the CPU to throw about 140 pitches per game and I am throwing around 120. So, for me, altering the fatigue would have a drastic impact on how many innings my SP's would throw.

Re: Workaround for pitcher stamina glitch?
By me raising fatigue I see pitchers go to the 7th & 8th if the are having realy good games. The average is about the 6th inning they come out. For me that helps force me to use others in my pen because normally I would not. Tinkering around with it and see if you find something that works for you because what is important to you may not be for me.Comment

Re: Workaround for pitcher stamina glitch?
I want to revisit this, because when I had previously replied that I still had it happen I didn't know that people were seeing pitchers regaining their stuff. I've played with default rosters all along and had believed that it just effected the managers decision of possibly taking out the pitcher, and that's the only thing it effected for me. Never once have I had a pitcher have their stuff revert to how it was when they started the game, so I think you were right all along gil. So I actually want to apologize, because I didn't realize that people were seeing pitchers regain their stuff and would like to say that I've never seen that even though their stamina does revert back to 99.Comment
