Quick Question Re: Patch

Does anyone know from past experience with these patches (I didn't buy 2k9 so I have no experience with them) if you have to restart your franchise in order to use the patch or will it just integrate into your franchise? I'm considering starting a 'chise but don't know if I need to wait 'til after it's released for it to work. Thanks in advance

but who knows what the patch is fixing... maybe its something to with franchise too

We don't know yet what the patch consist of. 2k Ron will let us know as soon as its approved
