Lineup changes issue
Okay, in franchise play I see some of my players are a little fatigue. So I take a couple of players out of the starting lineup to rest up. So I start getting into the later innings in a 0-2 game. I'm going to have to use strategy to get this game. I want to pinch hit and what do i see? the guys i took out of the starting line up are not even on the bench. What gives, is the a bug or is this right????Tags: None -
Re: Lineup changes issue
Did you take them out of the starting lineup before the game when you adjust lineups and pick your starting pitcher, or did you sub them out after the game loaded, as the players were getting ready to take the field?"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Just in case he's not familiar with baseball rules:
Subbed out players cannot return to the game. If the game has started and you pull players out of the lineup, they are unavailable for the rest of the game."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Lineup changes issue
I do know baseball rules. When the game is loading up you press start and you see that games starting line ups. You can sub out players that are lower on energy and make strategic changes as well.
I was playing with the Pirates. I decided to rest three of my usual starting players. I subbed them out during the lineup change window before the game starts, still loading up.
I tried it again, this time I just subbed one player...this time he was on the bench for use in the later innings.
By the way, this baseball game is very good. I hope they fix the bug and I will be happy to spend some time with this baby.Comment
