    having trouble hitting home run

I get about 10-12 hits per game with 2 to 4 runs, but never any homeruns. I play as the mets and Francouer has 2 homeruns but thats it. I play on allstar with the power bumped up to the same as pro. Any tips? Its odd for a 2k game and me, it seems every other year thats all i could hit.

I have the exact same problem. My team leads the league in batting average and hits and is dead last in runs and HRs. Lately Ive been using nothing but contact swings and I feel like it's helping me get my timing right, I hit a HR with Angel Pagan last night with a contact swing on a curveball, a week ago I would have jumped out of my shoes and swung about three seconds too soon.

If you're using Classic batting, you almost have to have the Human Power level at around 80 or higher.

Use the Power Swing as much as possible. Even with weaker contact hitters, as they will still hit singles, but much harder ones.

I have 7 homers with J.D. Drew 15 games into the season and my sliders are only at:

        Contact: 30
        Power: 40

Power Swing early in the count and swing at pitches that you think are too high. The new batting camera makes belt-high wheelhouse pitches look high out of the zone.
