FRANCHISE STATS BROKEN-PLEASE TEST!

Hi everybody,

I can't leave a comment at 2K, and definitely want others to confirm this, please humor me and test this on your system.

1) start a new franchise
2) simulate through pre-season
3) start regular seaso
4) check league leaders stats

You will notice (especially if you start your season opener) that the game is carrying over grapefruit and cactus league stats into the regular season. So if you had 8 HR's with Fielder in the preseason, the his first of the regular season makes 9. The stats are not starting over when the regular season starts.

Can some of you test this out and say whether you are seeing the same thing? Thank you!

Everything is working fine for me. I'm not sure why you're experiencing this problem.

I think I might of found a way around this problem. I decided to make a new Franchise with the M's and I did not want to play spring training games. I read earlier here that there was a bug so here I am to solve a possible fix.

First thing I did was notice there was statatics as you said they would be rolled over from spring triaining. I was pretty pissed myself. So i tried something before going to the first game with stats. Go to the first OFF day before the regular season and press A to simulate to regluar season. All of sudden the stats went back to 0-0 for the pitchers. I hope this might save the game for you, cuz I did for me. Enjoy

This is what I have done

But I have never experienced this problem yet.

Red Sox Franchise
I played the two games of spring training. In that game I hit a two run shot with V-Mart. In spring training with my Homerun he had 5 homeruns in total. Anywayz. 2) simulate through pre-season. Then I started the game against the Yankees on that sunday and then played the next game on the wednesday. The stats has reset. In the first two games of the season. V-Mart stats show him batting 300 or so but no homeruns in the total.

Not sure where you see this issue.


I'm going to try different steps after work.

I am not seeing this at all either.
Maybe it is just showing you the players spring stats when you play a game??

I saw someone else talking about this.

I'm going to sim through a pre-season franchise tonight and see if the spring training stats carry over to the regular season.

I hope this isnt true...

I'm wondering if OP just saw spring training stats in an overlay, and not actually pre season stats mixing in.

I can confirm what the OP saw. This happened when I simmed the preseason; the stats carried over. The overlay stats on opening day were there from spring training, but also in the menus, hot/cold hitters, leaders (may have been ok), team stats, etc. Disclaimer: Was not drunk or high!

Never saw it happen to me. (though right now Im at work.)

Also, Ive had 3 posters say this is not true.

So; everything seems fine.

What i did was played the last two games of spring training for boston. Then I click sim to start of season. then it advanced to the season, I played the first 2 games of my season and the stats were at 0. Post patch
