    Any tips?

So I am currently playing a franchise as the ChiSox. This is the first baseball game Ive owned in a long, long time. I am now 13-5 and playing on the default difficulty.

I am winning most of my games pretty easily although I have had some tough losses.
    Ive noticed that:
    -AI rarely hits HR
    - my pitching is dominant. Even Freddy Garcia can consistenly go 7 innings.
    - Ive hardly even used my bullpen

So I adjusted the difficulty to the next level, and the very first game I lost 3-0 against Bedard. He struck us out 20 times! And I only got 1 hit.

Such a crazy disparity between levels. I feel that the default difficulty is too hard, the next one up though hitting is really really tough.

Pitching on the other hand feels almost too easy. I know the Sox have a very good rotation, but Im not really getting lit up in any of my games.

Anyone have any tips? Any sliders to recommend, or just a couple to change?

I dont want to lose any realism and want to keep the stats as close to real life as possible.

    Thanks!

You're probably gonna have to customize your sliders.

Unfortunately, 2K penalizes you by removing player cards and rewards, but I play for the challenge so I got over that quickly.

I say go back to level you were winning at and bump CPU power up, maybe make the pitch meter faster to make it more difficult to hit your spots, and increase fatigue if you're worried about not using your bullpen.

Compare to the next level and try to find a happy medium.

And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Yeah I was having the same issue, its like a difficulty between Pro and Allstar would be the right one for me. I just took the Pro sliders, went up on CPU contact and power and lowered the HUM sliders. I tried to make Allstar work but the CPU just seems less patient at the plate and they swing a lot more resulting in me having very low pitch counts.
