My Player vs Road To The Show?

Please guys this is not a bashing thread, it is very serious.

I loved MLB 2k6 and 2k7, played them nearly religiously. 2k8 was a turnoff and I switched over to the show. I have not played 2k9 or 2k10 although I loved the My Player feature in NBA 2k10.

I was interested in hearing from those who have played both RTTS and My player, which do you prefer and why?

    Thanks

If you want to create a pitcher then go with the show, 2k has some crazy manager logic going on which will leave you in until your arm falls off and you give up a losing run. If you want to create a position player then it's a matter of personal preference. Do you prefer hitting with the Stick or would you rather hit with the button? I personally like the Stick and the commentary better in My player, but the presentation and play of The Show. But it's really a matter of personal preference.

Not positive but I think this may get closed, I think it probably should have been in the baseball - other forum.

I personally prefer RTTS. My player lets me get to the majors too fast. In RTTS I am forced to be in the minors for at least a season or 2. It just makes me feel more like i earned my starting spot in the majors.

However, this is 2ks first year trying this. Im sure my player will be on par with RTTs next year, especially since RTTS hasnt advanced much in the last 2 years.
