Man, i really am about ready to go to 2k, and jam this cd down their throats. The more i play this game, the harder it is to overlook everything that is wrong with it, which i really try hard to do because i dont have a ps3 and im a complete baseball addict/tool. Im playing my starting pitcher in my player, game 2 of the world series, which im amazed i even got there because for some reason since the patch, AI gets automatically to second base as soon as they hit a single. Yes even if i throw over 5 times, as soon as i throw a pitch, it zooms in on the catcher, doesnt let me finish the gesture and the runner takes off while the catcher fiddles with himself. And not just the average base stealers, i had pujols holliday ludwich and carpenterx2(because for some reason he hit .454 with 14 HRs this season) steal on me in one game.
Is it too much to ask that a 60$ video game works,one that the infielders run to the ball instead of paralell to it, or make and attempt to catch that fly ball thats a half inch infront of them. Its really driving me nuts,how many 2 seamers i have thrown that are perfect groundball double plays that just put along at 2 miles an hour while j-roll(best defensive short stop in the game)watchs it roll past him.Then i have to hear steve phillips's sex addict #@$ tell me how i have given up 3 strait hits.How is he even on this video game lol,that shows how much 2k pays attention.

if you dont like it, dont play it. that simple.

or you could have been a smart consumer and waited to see reviews of the game before you rushed out to buy it. 2k does what they can, and no good will come of you ranting about how bad the game is.

All i am saying, is speak with your wallet. instead of posting messages yelling about how bad the game is, simply dont buy next years installment.

On a final note, this is going to get locked because there is an impressions thread already.

Im allowed to rant about this game,if you dont like it,dont read it, its that simple.
Also i did read reviews before i bought it,and they were all great, no "deal breakers" was all i read. You cant ever base buying a game off of others opinions,cuz 90% are gonna be 2k bashers/2k lovechildren and will be a completly biased review.

Dude honestly i dont want this thread to turn into a post war because that is for toolboxes,but if you would have actually read the post and not just the title, you would have seen that i said i really really like this game,but i was posting about something that happend to me while playing, i know that posting passive-agrresive flames in other peoples thread make you cool on the intraweb and stuff but seriously dude...

Actually you said you really really like this game. You said you really really like baseball. Not sure I understand the intent of your thread. It's really nothing more than another bitch-fest thread that serves no purpose to anyone else in the forum, and serves little purpose to the person who actually created it.
