From here on out, I plan to put one in his earhole each time he comes up with first base open.

I hate any submarine/sidearm style pitcher(Joe Smith on the Indians) and as far as hitters go, Aaron Hill seem to have my number. He gets 3 or 4 hit games every time against me no matter who is on the mound.

I've really only been playing My Player as a pitcher so far, so I can't really say much about hitting.

But I have the absolute WORST luck against Nick Swisher. I strike out A-Rod and Jeter with a regularity that is absurd, but Swisher has gone 11/12 against me as a closer this season, with 5 HR's and 15 RBI's. The other day I gave up and threw a fastball WAY outside with a 3-1 count just to walk the bum, and he hit it for a gap triple in Fenway.
"I was telling George Kottaras behind the plate, 'How do you even catch Wakefield's knuckle?'" Oakland shortstop Orlando Cabrera said. "He was like, 'I just close my eyes.' And I said, 'OK, I'm going to try that one, I'm going to close my eyes and swing.' And nothing."

Harden is crazy hard for me to hit because of his split fingerd fast ball. Peavy is also difficult as well.

I already posted in here about how Doug Davis and pitchers like him own me. Well i just faced him again, and got owned again. It was the most rewarding win of the season though.

Going into the 6th inning, i had one hit and it was a single. Mike Fontenot singles up the middle, steals second and then is sac bunted to 3rd. Ryan Theriot grounds out to deep short but the run scores. That was it for my offense, not one more hit, not even a walk. Ted Lilly threw a complete game 5 hit shutout, and i won 1-0. It felt so rewarding to win like that against a pitcher i cannot do anything against.

Re: Pitcher or hitter you have the most trouble against?

Well it's 2023 and i'm still playing 2K10. As for starting pitchers, Mark Buehrle and Justin Masterson always seem to give me fits. Even when I think I'm getting work done against them, they always seem to get out of jams without giving up much.

For relievers, Craig Breslow gives me trouble.

For hitters, I'm not going to go with the obvious ones but some of the lesser known guys:

                Matt LaPorta
                Coco Crisp
                Alex Gonzalex
                Adam Lind
                J. J Hardy
                Alexei Ramirez
                Juan Pierre
