The cabinet file 'mlb2k10_10.cab' (missing/corrupt) on Install

I purchased mlb2k10 yesterday & i had this message come up after trying to install it. It got to about 85% finished each time (which took about 45 minutes). Any help would be appreciated. This is the complete message i received. The cabinet file mlb2k10_10.cab required for this iunstallation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the cd-rom, or a problem with this package.

Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 3 (build 2600)
    2.20 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64
    1984 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory
    ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series

This is the first title I've ever had a problem with installing. Ive tried 3 times now at 45 minutes a pop so ill try once more and will check back if anyone may know how to resolve this. Thanks

I would try going to downloads.com and downloading the file, then placing it in the game folder.

45 minutes? It can't be that long on most dvd drives but... If it is, then I'd try turning the computer off for a while to cool the dvd drive down, and turn it back on and install it immediately and hope for the best.
