What do you enjoy more: Hitting or Pitching?
Personally I like pitching more. It's more of a satisfying feeling striking batters out than it is to hit a home run.Tags: None -
Re: What do you enjoy more: Hitting or Pitching?
I too liked pitching a lot more at the beginning, but believe it or not, I now enjoy batting more. It took a while, but after about 40 games I really started to hit well with powerswing before 2 strike count. The satisfaction of hitting a double in the gap or homerruns are unmatched. -

Hitting definitely.
Pitching is too easy, and I usually only give up 1 run or less, so there's no challange to it.
So I just sim the pitching to make it more realistic. Kinda sucks, but oh well. The hitting makes it worth itComment

Re: What do you enjoy more: Hitting or Pitching?
I'm enjoying hitting much more this year simply because I can see the ball better and actually work some counts. In previous years, I'd just swing at everything and hope for the best. I find it very satisfying to get deep into the counts and even draw some walks from time to time.Comment

Re: What do you enjoy more: Hitting or Pitching?
Im the opposite, the only time i hit is when my pitcher in my player is up.If you want challange while your pitching, turn the strike zone off, pitch meter speed 100,pitcher comp 100
CPU batter contact 60/Power 100
I use this and rarley have a streak of shutouts or 1 run games.
This is in my player mode though i dont even mess with Franchise mode cuz everytime i do every teams budget is -200mil and i cant sign anyone.Comment

Re: What do you enjoy more: Hitting or Pitching?
I think pitching is better, even though 2k fixed the hitting camera, i still get really aggresive when i hit and swing at horrible pitches. pitching i like more because i feel like i have good and bad composure when i am playing, it carries into when i play, because that will be the only time i overthrow the ball notably and/or make a bad gesture.Comment
