Ouch. I wonder how much the sum of money is? If it was low enough we might be able to start a grass-roots campaign to "donate" towards a workable franchise

Although the idea that $60 bucks doesn't buy you a workable franchise mode would be too much swallow

I just find it to be poor that so many people are wanting answers or some kind of information about a patch that could essentially make or break a huge part of this game (franchise mode) and they are left in the dark.

You should ask yourself these questions:

Would I rather be told nothing and after the patch is released be told what is in it?

OR

Would I rather be told something is going to be attempted to get fixed, only to be disappointed in the final patch when they couldn't fix one of the problems I really wanted fixed for some reason?

I'd like to know a few things as well about the new patch, but I'm really enjoying My Player and since the patch is supposed to be out mid-April and the baseball season goes until October, I can wait a few more weeks to start my franchise after knowing what is/isn't fixed. The Trade-in value should stay nearly the same into May anyway if you still want to sell it at that time. By then, you should have had ample time to see if you like the changes in the 2nd patch.

The first patch was just a very small one anyways that didn't address the core problems. Patch #2 is the biggy and we're all getting it. I was frustrated at first too but I'm not willing to jump off the cliff.

you will be told whats fixed before the patch comes out or on the day the patch comes out.

I know Ron gave me patch notes for 2K10 i think it was and said post them when the patch releases.

So the info will come right before or the hour the patch goes out. WEll, if one of us mods are still awake. lol

I'm in the waiting boat till this patch comes out...got the game, like the game, but want to play it when its had some work done to it.

NHL 10 still has its claws in me though...there may be no baseball season on my xbox this year!!!

i feel your pain, i am on year 5 with no NFL football game. it sucks so bad.

For me, you fix the superfielders, the accuracy and strength of the arms and i am going to be one happy dude. I only play online, so that will do it for me. lol
