    Dynamic Attendance in Franchise?

Hey everyone, most likely getting this game tommorow, but i really wanted to know if they have dynamic attendance in this game. example: setting prices on ticket prices, food, etc.

You cannot set ticket/food prices in franchise mode.

I'm not sure if there is dynamic attendance(where the crowd is bigger or smaller depending on how your team is doing), because I've never noticed a different number of people at the game.

ok, thanks. I'm still going to but this game regardless I've decided. Is the franchise good, would you say?

I would say it's good, but it doesn't have many bells and whistles. I love the mlb.com feature, but that and the stats that will eventually show up in the overlays are the only pluses I really see about it. I love the gameplay, so that keeps me really interested in it.

There are many little things to franchise that are annoying, but if you can overlook them it'll be fine.

Here's a quote of mine, listing my gripes with franchise mode.

-After the draft in june(which I'm about 5 days away from), teams will keep many of their drafted players on the major league roster.
-There are reproduced mlb players in the draft, and they cause the game to freeze. I think it might be connected to them being called up, but I haven't played enough with them not being called up to see.
-You cannot see a players potential in the draft, causing you to draft only on current skill and not being able to see if they can improve much in the future. The cpu knows the potential of players though, so they have an unfair advantage.
-To piggyback on the potential in the draft. There are way too many high potential players. Everyone drafted in the first round is going to be an 88 or above and most are in the mid to high 90's. I saw a team that drafted 4 players 85 potential plus in one draft.
-There are no injuries while playing the game. There are when you simulate, but the players never get put on the dl(it says they do on the league injury list, but I'm pretty sure the DL doesn't even exist), and the teams just loses a roster spot while simulating. Injured players CAN play against you though even if it says they're on the supposed "disabled list". Ryan Ludwick is injured for 35 more days in my franchise, but he pinch hit against me all three games I played against the Cardinals even with his "broken wrist".

Now if you can overlook these issues then you will be fine. I can overlook them just because I have so much fun playing the game, but I really hope they fix some of these issues in the 2nd patch. Mainly the reproduced mlb players in the draft causing freezes. There are probably more pros than just mlb.com, but none really stand out to me or are coming to me at this time.

I've seen empty seats in the ballpark and the game does list the attendance on the first screen when loading a game.

I did not see dynamic attendance and that was one of the first things I looked for when I got the game on release day. To do this I simulated until September and I looked at the attendance and profit rating for each team. I went to the last team on the list who had the worst record and played one of their games against a non important opponent and the stadium was still full. Hopefully it will be fixed for the 2nd patch. Yeah there are a few empty seats but its not like it should be. When you play a home game with the Marlins the entire outfield is full with very few empty seats. It looks the same exact way as yankee stadium.
