My power slider is at 65, and contact 35 or 40. I've bumped that one up and down.

I thinm I might have found my solution! I've only played 2 games with it and haven't hit any HRs yet, but my swing is very fast and when I make contact, I can feel the power. I pull back when he's halfway through his windup, I let go when he releases, and I push up when I want to swing. The big difference is LETTING GO of the right stick BEFORE pushing up.

Yup, I got my rhythm down! 3rd game into regular season bottom of the 6th I jack a 3-R HR to tie it at 5, then to lead off the bottom of the 9th, I get a walkoff HR, 6-5! Woo!

You push back and you realesed it then you push forward or you do it in one motion?

First one. Push down, then release, then push up. Got 2 more HRs next 2 games, and about to play next game.

Since switching to All-Star, no HRs in about 10 games, but I went 4-5 last gam with a double and triple, so my power is still there, and I like the extra challenge of not being able to hit a HR every game. And how do you steal? It seems the only person I can steal on is James Shields cause of his slow windup.

I was playing on default Pro and had 2 home runs as a franchise, then got the timing down and hit 3 in a game with Chipper Jones. I just moved it up to All Star and in that game I hit a home run with Brian McCann and Troy Glause.

What i do is step when the pitcher is just about to release the ball. I leave my thumb holding back, then when the pitch is close enough to hit, I will push forward at a pretty good speed and usually foul, miss terribly, or hit a deep ball that is near or over the fence.

Jacked another today, making 6 HR near the end of month one! I moved the difficulty up to All-Star, and I'm STILL hitting over .400! However, I don't think it's QUITE time to move up again, though, as I would never ever hit any HRs on the next difficulty.

if you are letting go then you are no longer power hitting, your hit is just simply a contact hit.
