    Can someone please corroborate this?

In MLB 2k9, there were problems with injured players in franchise where they would not come off the disabled list.

I have not purchased/played MLB 2k10. But all indications are that injuries do not occur in the game.

If this is true, does this mean that the powers that be simply removed injuries from the game, instead of making injuries work properly?

Injuries do not occur at all in gameplay. However, there is an occasional injury during simulations.

There are also no errors. My conspiracy theory is that either they didn't have enough time to correct the problem (there is a new fielding mechanic) or they didn't want the perfect game contest outrage of having your starter get injured in the 9th inning or have an error take away 1 million dollars.

Since you have to play the game through a mode created just for the million dollar challenge, they would have only had to take errors out of that, not the whole game.

It's just bad balancing, and I expect them to be in the game with the patch. Well, I hope they will.

That's exactly what happened. There's really no other explanation. Either 2K could not find a fix for the DL issue, or to save time they just decided to eliminate all injuries. I've had one injury occur during a simulation, but that's it.

the DL does not work even for the computer injuries

i posted in a thread yesterday that Prado was on the 60 day DL but play 2 days in a row as a defensive replacement

it's garbage and stuff like that makes it very hard to play franchise

Yes in MLB2K9 injured players would get stuck "at 1 day remaining on their injury" for ever and ever....

However it MLB2K10 that has been fixed. An injured player properly comes off of the DL.

However Injuries never occur in PLAYED games. Only in SIMMED ones.

I feel this will be corrected by the patch.

            This part is true.

If you have an injured player you cannot have them in your lineup.
However; once in game you can sub them in anyway and just keep using them.... Kind of silly.

But.... just dont be cheap. Just because a bug is there does not mean you have to exploit it.

(For example you never get ejected in this game. So you can just hit or beam 9 guys in a row and not get ejected. Which essentially means you could save on pitch count and hit guys when you want to walk them. But that doesnt mean you should be cheesy and do it...)

                Oh, haha.

                Those bastards!

Anywho, the DL issue was on the bug list submitted to the Devs.

As to whether they'll fix it or not.... who knows....
