Are there any errors in this game?

I have played this game for about a month on all star settings and I dont think i've seen a single error on defense. I also havent seen the catcher throw the ball away on an attempted steal. Whats good?

There are errors, but they are very very rare. Through about 78 games in my franchise I've seen two missed fly balls, one missed liner, and two or three throws that pulled the first baseman off the bag.

Catchers cannot throw the ball offline on steal attempts, all throws are perfect no matter what. I lowered catchers accuracy down to 25(lowest it can go), and the throws were still perfect.

Nope, they don't have any sliders for errors or throwing accuracy or injuries(which there are none while playing the game). They have really stripped down the sliders since 2k8, sucks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there are any sliders that have an effect on errors.

Much like what duke776 said, I've played probably 20-30 full exhibition games, plus about two seasons in My Player and have seen only about 4 AI errors - two dropped flyballs and two throws to 1B that went wide. Not only are all catcher's throws to 2B perfect, but so is every pick-off attempt and almost every IF throw to 1B. Never seen a firstbaseman have to scoop, reach, or stretch to make the catch. I have seen a good share of passed balls and wild pitches, though, but as far as fielding mistakes from the AI, that's about it.

Just hoping they patch errors back into the game. There is no fix for it via sliders.

Agreed with the last few posts and hopefully they can patch this. It would be a huge improvement in the game with just this.

These are some of the reasons that have me disappointed with this game. The lack of errors and the catcher throws perfect no matter what.

Unfortunately, if you want to see errors, you'll have to go back to 2k8 or 2k9 - or hope and pray for a patch.

I would assume that they can patch it. It seems to me that they took the fielding complaints from last year and swung it too far the other way.

When is that supposed to happen? We were talking about a patch fixing all of these things back on March 10th.

Wow... I just had two errors in the same inning, both on bunt attempts with the catcher throwing high to first.

Go figure.

I am 10 games into my dynasty and I had 1 error that cost me the game.
