I do not have Xbox Live. Does anyone know of any other way I can get ahold of the patch? I thought maybe there would be a way to d/l to my PC and transfer it. But...I am a bit clueless.

No way to get it from your PC.
You don't have to pay for a silver account, which is all you need to download the patch if and when it becomes available. If you don't have a a highspeed connection, try and find someone who does and borrow it for 10-15 minutes. -

You can use a 360 formatted flashdrive. You will need a program called xplorer360. Transfer the file into the Cache folder. Details here:

Wow, great website to know about!
My neighbor in the APT above me will occasionally bring his 360 down for 5 minutes to hook it up and get any patches.
(He's like a teenager in high school or something, and his mother wont let him hook up his 360 on-line, haha. Poor kid.)
