So custom sliders = no achievements?
If so, this is disappointing. I know last year you could use them and still get the achievements. But apparently this year they fixed that. I just made some sliders that are to my liking that are a lot harder than Pro. But apparently I can't get achievements just because they are custom. Is this true? If so, is it possible to patch this at all?“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: So custom sliders = no achievements?
After some searching, which is what I should have done first, I found this...
What I've found is to maintain a "Pro" setting you cannot decrease the CPUs contact/power below 50, nor increase the users contact/power above 50.
Plus for pitching I think the setting for pitch break for both user and CPU have to be at the default PRO setting.
When editing sliders and then exiting, it says Trading Cards are disabled, but it didn't mention Achievements were too. Will it say they are disabled separately or will it disable both?“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

The best way I've found to figure this out is to compare Pro to All-Star...whichever way the slider moves when you change it to all star is the "harder" direction.Comment

Yup, that is the problem and I hope they chance it. You can have custom sliders and get achievements, it's just if they are lowered below the "pro" settings you can't get achievements or the cards. It's the same issue for me, the only thing I have below is fielder speed (anything below 50 = no achievements), when it really shouldn't matter.Comment

I don't understand achievements. What is the significance? Once in a while something will pop up that says trading card earned. Is that an achievement? Do I get to win money? Never saw this stuff in a pc game before.
In other words who cares if they are disabled by sliders? Isn't gameplay more important?Comment

Re: So custom sliders = no achievements?
Wow, revived my thread lol. The only reason I care about achievements is because I like to show what I have earned. Ever since they have been introduced, I don't like playing a game with them disabled. I don't sit there and try to get them. I get them by playing regularly, but I still like earning them. It is satisfying or something. haha get me?“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
