Did they fix AI pitcher managment with this patch?

I have been looking through every thread for an answer and cant find it,which is strange being as i thought that would be the main fix lol.

I guess i will have to wait for the:NO INJURIES OR ERRORS!>!>!!!B?LIFE IS OVER,This patch fixed nothing game is on the shelf,The show is better(only seen 1 actually),and they diddnt fix (insert minor glitch that really doesnt affect the game here)!!!!!!Why would they fix all that gamebreaking stuff first: posts to clear out lol.

Not making fun of people trust me i used to do the same thing, but its usless complaining here only gets more complaints back.

Re: Did they fix AI pitcher managment with this patch?

To answer my own question incase others were wondering, after playing in MY PLAYER mode with a starter.I went 4.1 IP and threw 66 pitchs gave up 5 hits 2 BBs and 2 runs in a AA and got pulled after the 5th hit.Keep in mind i did have the fatigue slider turned up to 70 for most of the game just to test the effects.
From what i can see it atleast works for MY PLAYER,test notes from franchise would be nice if anyone has some.

I havent noticed that CPU pitchers come out of the game sooner than before. They still seem to be staying in the game way too long. However, does the patch effect franchises that were already started?

Yes the patch affects franchises already started, and yes, AI pitcher management was affected. Play more than one game and you'll see that the AI actually takes out the starter/relievers when appropriate. Its pretty satisfying.

I do, however, have pitcher fatigue turned up a click to 55

Yea 55 is wat i have it at too, this seems to put it pretty close to perfect. It also makes your control start to slip earlier too which gives a little more of a challange.

I've played about 5 or 6 games now post patch. I think the cpu handles the starters well but the first reliever in the game stays in too long imo.

Although it may have gotten better, they didn't change their strategies for a guy throwing a no hitter. I was getting no hit by AJ Burnett through 7 and he had hardly thrown any pitches (Stamina down to 50 btw). Anyway in the 8th here comes Kiko Calero. The score was 2-0 Yankees. Not only did they take out Burnett but they also kept Calero in for the 9th instead of bringing in Rivera. Sure enough I break up the Yankees combined pitcher no hitter in the 9th with 2 outs on a hit by Nick Punto. It really pissed me off because I couldn't even touch Burnett. After he got pulled I just about quit because the drama and fun flew right out the window. It just ticks me off stupid crap like this happens in this game.

Agreed, Demaso Marte stayed in for 5 innings in a game i played against the Yanks. Absolutely absurd considering hes a one sometimes two inning reliever.

You see that way too often in this game. Closer logic is lousy. When the score differential is 3 or less the closer should be automatically coming in to start the 9th.
