Do you have the latest patch, or have you decreases fielder speed? This is a result of OF's getting to the ball too quickly. But most people have decreased fielder speed to 20 or 25. I have been playing on PRo, and after the patch, the default is now fielder speed at 20.

Since I went to the slower fielder speed, this has not been an issue at all.

really? ... i play RF in MyPlayer and i'm always trying to throw someone out from the field but have yet to get it done

does the "Fielder Speed" slider also affect MyPlayer? ... and if so, does anyone have any suggestions on a good slider number for MyPlayer?

I did get pretty damn close throwing someone out at 1st with David DeJesus (who has 80 Arm Strength). I think if I had Rick Ankiel (99 Arm Strength) in Right Field in the same spot, he would have most certainly got him out. I think it was one of the slower guys though like Jason Kubel on the Twins.

Yeah I have the patch and since then it has only happened once...the big problem is how hard the outfielders get the ball in its actually too easy to throw someone out from the outfield on a basehit although this is just nit picking like i said I am really enjoying the game but I have to experience the Show except for on PSP

Trying to throw someone out at first base from right field is bush league. Simply don't do it.

Francouer just tried to do it against the Brewers. If you have a chance to get the guy, why not try it?

It's just extremely rare and it shows up the other player. For a video gamer to try it every time is just not baseball.

A right fielder once tried to throw out Ferguson Jenkins (pitcher) who hit a single to RF. He was dogging it a bit and then had to hussle to make it there. He was safe but the next time the RF got up he got plunked.

I did throw a few out from CF to 2nd base because the runner on 1st hesitates sometimes before the ball hits the ground.

I was at the Braves/Phils game the other day, and Jason Heyward almost threw out Howard, I believe, from right field...pretty nuts.
