Anyone else hate how the pitch meter gets in the way

The stupid circle pops up right in the middle of the strike zone. Not a problem when pitching outta the windup for most, but when a pitcher has a quick delivery from the stretch you can even see the pitch because it blocks the only part of the screen that matters. They could have put it anywhere else, literaly anywhere but of course 2k would put it right dead smack in the middle of the screen.
Its bad when playing the CPU but it doesnt really affect the play just makes it so you dont see your pitch, but when playing against a friend(offline)as soon as there is a man on base the circle is right in the middle of the screen and stays there till after the ball hits the glove, completly blocking the view of the pitch making it swing and pray type of thing.
Now i play with pitch speed at 100 but i dont think having it lower would help this, and i hate having my pitches look like my 5 yo brother threw them and then have 99mph pop up next to them.

I wholeheartedly agree. Try playing head to head with a buddy. The default camera view is the batting camera (which I believe it should be). But pitchers who have a quick delivery have the release point obscured by the meter.

One way to resolve this for next year would be to make the meter transparent. Or allow gamers to toggle off ALL onscreen displays and let us pitch by 'feel' and timing. If 2K decides this route, we should be allowed to get in a few warmup pitches prior to the start of each inning to get our timing.

Now timing based pitching would be awesome but too practical. This is the same company that left out errors and injuries...
