    Pitch accuracy tied to system/controller?

I was wondering something the other day. After the patch was released, I remember talking about how they were walking more batters b/c they couldn't pinpoint their pitches like they could pre-patch.

I had the game on the 360 and honestly did not notice a difference. I was still placing all my pitches, with any pitcher I used, excatly where I wanted them.

Since that time, I've picked up a PS3 and noticed that the sticks are more sensitive than the 360. On Madden and NCAA, the kick meter is more sensitive; I have less right down the middle kicks in those games now. On the 360, I was never off target.

This could just be placebo but perhaps there is something to the PS3 controller being more sensitive and thus, causing the accuracy of the pitchers with the patch to dip a little?

Not surprising. People are finding the PS3 controller to be too difficult in Tiger Woods, too. Personally, i just really hate the PS3 controller.

But lack of control when pitching is nice side-effect.

Yeah, I remember TW being spotty back on the PS2. Not sure what Microsoft does with its controller, but the sticks definitely have more weight to them than Sony's.

the 360 controllers are designed well. the movements are ultra smooth compared to PS3 controllers.
