    2K's concern

I click on the baseball link here at OS and every time I do, I see the same thing:

There is always about 10-20 people on these boards and 75-120 people on the boards of the other game. I'm in no way trying to compare which game is better, but the other guys have obviously created a product which has some serious lasting power to a large portion of their fanbase...I don't see that or believe that to be true with 2K.

While obviously some people are having a blast with this game, 2K needs to find a way to make this game remain fresh and interesting. Obviously fixing franchise (or rebuilding from the ground up) would do wonders since it basically becomes unplayable after one year and while the nuts and bolts have improved it still, IMO, lacks an overall variety and freshness that makes me feel excited to play the game.

They also don't build a community with OS. Whatever it is they do with their official forums is as good of a community effort as you'll see from them, at least for now. But I do think they need to discover where the nuts and bolts derive from to deliver top notch selling-point titles, and I feel that many of the OS supporters kind of have a good feeling of what makes a good game.

I don't just mean a good game for the die-hards, I mean something that attracts all people. And quite obviously, big bugs are big deterrents. Arcade elements aren't quite as appealing in the sports genre as they used to be unless they are marketed as such.

2K needs to understand that the customer is always right, even if they don't believe it themselves. With the corner they are in, they need to bite the bullet and take a chance. Why is most of OS viewing the other board? Because we are right and SCEA is well aware of that.
