Ok this is something that has literally been bugging me for most of the ten years they are talking about with that anniversary banner.

They go to all the trouble to have seperate ratings for lefties and righties for virtually everything, yet the only place the stats are ever displayed in theg ame is in batter walk-ups.

Unless I am missing something .. and there are only so many buttons you can push so I doubt it, there is no way to display split battings stats in the franchise menus, anywhere.

How do they continue to leave this out year after year?

There are a lot of little things they could do better. I'd love to see pitch counts easier rather than have to go to the game summary in the box score or wait for the cpu to just pop it up from time to time. I'd like to be able to see how tired a reliever is before I warm him up. The only way I can figure that out is before the game starts if you edit your lineup and check the starting pitcher.

You can see the lefty-righty splits of your batters through their sports blog. Just load your last box score and check it out online. You can check my player stats here as an example: http://community.2ksports.com/commun...blogid=1003056. Just click on the Player Stats and you will see AVG as well as lefty vs right stats and all the other normal stuff. I know you want to see that in game. Hopefully 2K will give us access to more stuff next year.

I just pause the game, flip the right analog to bring up the 2K menu then select substitutions and warm up pitcher. I have to use Valverde a lot in my franchise so it's really important to gauge his fatigue.

You're both totally right about the relief pitchers. I mean in the previous year at least it would tell you when a pitcher was ready.

Thanks for this info about the community. I didn't know it exhisted. I'm assuming you just click register and its easy enough.

Its still just average though and no slugging etc. Also how its just an added column. Hello tell me they couldn't add that with a patch.

Other observations, I thought everyone with a PS3 plays the show (seeing as how I've finally thought about getting one if only for it) and --- I'm not surprised you don't like the lions, lol.

I'm ps3 too lol. I had never bought a next gen baseball game (have only had my ps3 about 9 months). I saw 2k9 for $18 at Meijer and tried it out, really liked the pitching/hitting with the right analog and decided to go ahead and get 2k10 as well I got it the day it came out, but forgot my Tigers rookies wouldn't be included until a couple weeks after opening day . I haven't played the show since (i think) '06 on ps2. I actually really liked it, but these analog controls were enough to convince me.

You can see exactly how warm a pitcher is in your bullpen. The problem is 2K didn't tell anyone how to do it. When you have one or two guys warming up in the pen, push down to bring up the quick sub menu and then hit triangle (top button, not sure what 360 version is) and it will show you a bullpen camera with the exact readiness level below either reliever. I found this by accident about 40 games into my season.

I'm willing to bed the ps3's analog stick may be part of the attraction. The 360's is a source of frustration. Curveballs particularly.
