Re: The Only Way I Am Buying MLB2k11...
I guess it's hard to please the masses! I couldn't care less about the camera angles. I thought they were fine. The reason I put 2k10 on the shelf in a couple weeks was because progression of players in franchise was broken. I'll only buy if this is fixed. -
Re: The Only Way I Am Buying MLB2k11...
Franchise needs to be fixed and I'll be happy. That was the one thing that killed my enjoyment for the game.
Hopefully no new issues pop up either. 2K improved a lot last season but they still have a ways to go.GT: Herkyalert

Re: The Only Way I Am Buying MLB2k11...
honestly, after what i saw with nba 2k10 i am confident this one is going to rock. while i admit have not played this game, what i read here shows similarities between the nba 2k10 to 2k11 transformation. i also feel they are not just making a game to satisfy major league baseball, i think they are going to use it to pitch the NFL to show what they can do to promote their game.
if the money is close and even if 2k is slightly higher, EA has the relationship and familiarity so 2k has to not only outbid, but out preform. EA has done high quality jobs with Fifa and NHL, a pretty good job with Madden, failed miserably at NBA. 2k so far only has NBA to hang its hat.Comment

Re: The Only Way I Am Buying MLB2k11...
Add injuries and errors. A baseball game that does not include these two very important elements of the game is not legit.
No restrictions on editing capabilities, to include the amount of players that can be edited. 2K flat out told us last year that there was no cap to the amount of players you could edit and that turned out to be false. They did extend the limit later, but the name on the backs of the jersey would not change.
Fix simulation stats... Especially for pitchers. The elite aces in the league should not be getting lit up constantly and posting 6+ ERA's for the entire season. I can see a couple of pitchers struggling, but there would be a lot of aces who would just get shelled.
Fix progression/regression.
Fix the player portraits. Sorry, I want the right hats on a player, especially when some of the portraits being used are literally three or four years old. It's just unacceptable to me.
Yeah, 2K has a long way to go before I'll be giving them my money again. I hope they can get things going in the right direction this year. Last year was an improvement but the game still lacked a GREAT deal.Comment

I will not be purchasing this game on release day... I will wait for a couple weeks and read the impressions before even considering doing so. As much as I love doing rosters, I never enjoyed the game last year. 2K needs to step it up this year or this game could be standing on its last legs...STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Sim stats/progression is also a big problem with 2K's game. I'm not going to rehash it all with a lengthy explanation, but there were SO many problems with the sim stats and regression. It needs a complete overhaul.Comment

Re: The Only Way I Am Buying MLB2k11...
...is if everything that is broken is fixed and everything that is missing is added. Simple enough
But really...fix injuries and errors and franchise stats and a lot of the franchise logic (trades, lineups, etc.)Comment

Re: The Only Way I Am Buying MLB2k11...
+1.
Also, I want them to bug test the game in general.
Gamers at 2Ksports.com put up a bug list with 45 different bugs in the fist few days the game came out last year... Most were never fixed...
Last year there were no animations for errors and injuries, so they were not in played games at all. A baseball game without errors... Maybe this year it will be a baseball game without baseball bats... Who knows with this company...
I am staying away from this game like the plague untill I read up on how many bugs it has this year.
As a baseball lover who can only afford and Xbox360, it breaks my heart that I have not had a decent/functioning baseball game since the year 2005.

Re: The Only Way I Am Buying MLB2k11...
So they stripped the game of errors, check swings, and injuries from the release disc, and still wanted $60?
