Edited player names don't show on jerseys

I started a franchise and and edited some prospects to match their real-life counterparts, but when I see them in-game the names on their jerseys still show the old pre-edit name. Anyone else see this and know how to fix it? I've tried re-editing and the correct name shows in menus and player cards and everywhere but the jersey. Annoying.

No way to fix this, just have to hope 2k11 fixes this, and makes editing better.

You can fix it by deleting the patch but the patch was too much of an improvement to make that a realistic fix. All I know is that I edited players pre-patch and their names showed up - both before and after the new patch (99% certain of this on PS3). But once I got the patch any edited player afterwards wouldn't change the name on the back of the jersey.

Maybe you could delete the patch, make a bunch of name changes, then re-add the patch and see if the names would show up.
