I really cannot stand the ball trail...reminds me of the blue streak in the old Wayne Gretzky hockey game

I leave it on. It makes it easier to follow the ball, which is what I am looking for. It doesn't bother me any more than circles under active players and throwing and pitching meters.

I keep it on, makes it easier to track the ball...my twitch reflex isn't what it used to be.

I always leave it off. If i can't get to a ball, i want it to be b/c i misjudged it off the bat. It adds to the realism

it would absolutely bust simple plays and turn them into extra bases. I like it on, but if everything else was "realistic", I'd cut it off.

OFF. I turn off most visual aids like the strike zone and ball trails. Some stuff has to stay on but I want it to look more like a real game. The ball trail just screams arcade parlour. Don't like it at all. But it's an option and people can use it anyway they want. To each his own.

- If you are visually impaired then visual aids should be beneficial.

- If you're fine viewing wise, and consider yourself a person of true immersion I strongly suggest turning off visual aids such as Ball trail, which has been around since triple play. Turn off Strikezone box, Hot zones and any other type of aid the game offers.

- Default wise, visual aids should be done for difficulty classes, (You select rookie you get all the bells and whistles, You select All-star you get a strikezone, exact ball locations, You select HOF or higher you get nothing besides a region of where the ball will be around but not it's exact drop location)

- As usual user' options are a great tool to make difficulty adjustments. Enable use them if you need to simplify a game or Disable them to make it more of a challenge.
